Abstract: The degree of rocky desertification is to describe the development degree and spatial distribution of rocky desertification in a specific time and space, which is the most direct reflection of the severity of rocky desertification. The division rocky desertification degree can clarify the scope, area, severity and distribution of rocky desertification. In this study, based on the southwest of two different landscape niche — fracture basin niche karst plateau niche, Landsat data from 1995 to 2015 were selected and constructed the fuzzy classification using fuzzy reasoning system. Additionally, the scientificity and applicability of the fuzzy classification method are verified from the three aspects of fuzzy classification accuracy, comparison with monitoring data and sampling results. In this study, based on the southwest of two different landscape niche —— fracture basin niche karst plateau niche, Landsat data from 1995 to 2015 were selected and constructed the fuzzy classification using fuzzy reasoning system.
