Abstract: The paper states the nationwide mine geological environment status quo and introduces the working methods of mine geological environment assessments in China. In this article, combining with the prede-cessors' research examples, we describe the advantages and disadvantages of the main research methods, propose the main problems of mine geological environment assessments and then make a pro-spect of the subsequent direction of mine geological environment assessments.
