Abstract:Incidents of heavy metal pollution in farmland soil occur frequently throughout the country.Special topography, fragile ecological environment and unreasonable human activities lead to serious heavy metal pollution in soil of the karst areas. This paper reviews the current situation of heavy metal pollution in agricultural soil of the karst region, analyzes it’s risk to human health, proposes to strengthen legislation and law enforcement, and strengthens cleaner production audit for industrial and mining enterprises to prevent and reduce contamination. Several soil bioremediation methods are suggested for heavy metal polluted soils for the recover.
