Abstract: Atmospheric particles (PM2.5 ) over Guiyang City had been collected and analyzed from September to November 2008. The mass concentrations of PM2.5 were 53±27μg/m3, ranging from 3.7 to 186μg/m3. The possible sources were artificial sources such as fossil fuel burning, biomass burning, etc. The meteorological parameters, such as humidity, wind speed and temperature, play a key role in controlling atmospheric particles’ concentrations.
Key words: PM2.5; meteorological parameter; Guiyang
