Abstract: The Caohai wetland, in Weining of Guizhou Province, is the largest natural plateau freshwater lake in Guizhou, and it also becomes a typical representative of China’s subtropical plateau wetland ecosystem and a vital wintering and stopover site for waterfowl in southwest of China. But the Caohai wetland ecosystems caused by human activity intensifying variously influenced the ecological environment problems that such as its functions would be weakened, biodiversity decreased, water eutrophication. It showed the obvious ecological vulnerability, especially it is particularly prominent that in terms of its ecosystem ecology environment. If it can’t be solved in time that the problem of the contamination of Caohai wetland ecosystem would directly threat to the stability of Caohai wetland ecosystem. Firstly, the article was viewed on 30 major influence factors from the wetland ecological characteristics, functional integration and social economic environment three aspects of Caohai wetland ecosystem; and then, it assessed the Caohai wetland ecosystem health through using the weighted average principle after applying analytical hierarchy process of fuzzy synthetic evaluation model in its influence factors; Finally, it put forward recommendations about the Caohai wetland ecosystem reconstruction and development in the future through the Caohai wetland ecosystem health status.

Key words: Caohai; ecosystem health; fuzzy synthetic evaluation; analytical hierarchy process; weighted average principle
