Abstract: Analyzing the aromatic organic pollutants of the samples from the Xigu District of Lanzhou City by GC-MS, the authors found out that the phthalates occupy the prominent position in the whole pollutants. Among the aromatic hydrocarbons, DBP and DEHP are highest. Through comparative analyses of samples and sources, it is pointed out that organic pollutants such as aromatic hydrocarbons in atmospheric dust fall in the Xigu Districit of Lanzhou City is closely related to the emission of waste gases by Company A in the Xigu District. Therefore, it is necessary to intensify the protection of atmospheric environment and impose instructions on the direct emission of waste gases by factories or plants into atmosphere.
