Abstract：The δD and δ18O values of two kinds of proper plant species in the Maolan National Nature Reserve, Libo County, Guizhou Province were measured. The model was applied to calculating plant water source, so as to discuss the distribution of different plant water sources in karst areas, and improve our understanding of water balance in the karst ecosystem.
