Abstract: Through the comparison study of the hydrothermal gold deposits in China and abroad with the Hutu Qi I gold deposit, we have screened out metallogenic indicator elements of Hg, Au, Ni, Pb, As, Sb, Cu, W, Zn, Ag, Mo, and Bi, etc for the Hatu Qi III target. By using the Grignard zoning index method and the correlation cluster analysis, the axial zoning sequence of primary halo for the Hatu Qi III gold ore body is obtained in order of (Sb) - (Ni-Cu-Zn-Ag-Pb-Bi) - (Mo-As) - (Au-Hg-W) for the top, upper, central, bottom parts of the orebody, respectively, and the correlation clustering associations of Pb-Bi, W-Au-Sb-As, Cu-Zn-Ni and Hg-Ag, respectively. Combining with the previous research results, in addition to eliminate the influence of superimposed structures, we have obtained indicator element associations of Hg-As-Sb for the front edge halo, Pb-Ag-Cu-Zn-Bi for the near ore halo, and W-Ni-Mo for the tail halo of the orebody, respectively. According to the distribution characteristics of the primary halos and the variation trend of the accumulation ratios of the front edge halo and the tail halo, it is presumed that there may be concealed orebodies in the deep part.
