Abstract: On the basis of exploration practice of Daliang gold deposit, 14 gold ore bodies from SⅠ, SⅢ altered mineralized zones were discovered. To sum up the experience and guide the next step, this paper provides a prospecting model based on geology, successive electrical conductivity and transient electromagnetic methods. In the model of successive electrical conductivity, middle to high resistivities are respond to the gold bodies from SⅠaltered mineralized zones. Contact zones between high and low resistivities and local high magnetic anomalies in the middle to low resistivity anomalies are dominant positions for lead and zinc ore bodies. While in transient electromagnetic methods, string of bead low resistivity anomalies in the background of middle resistivity achieved remarkable exploration effect. Mineralized altered zones and gold deposits are controlled by regional compound fault-fold, and shear deformation; especially Daliang gold deposit is controlled by Daliang-Shuanjianshan NNW trending compound fault-fold.
