Abstract: With the continuous depletion of a large number of easy-treatment zinc sulfide ore, the fine disseminated and refractory low-grade zinc oxide ore has become an important source for the production. In this paper, a sulfurization- amine flotation process was studied for large amounts of low-grade zinc oxide ore in Lanping area, Yunnan Province, China and the influencing factors have been studied, such as grinding fineness, reagent types and dosage, etc. Under the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm (90%), a closed-circuit test with one stage roughing flotation, two stage scavenging, and three stage concentration flotation was carried out. The experiment results indicate that for the run-of-mine ore with a zinc grade of 6.52% and the oxidation ratio of 94.62%, zinc concentration can be obtained with zinc grade of 44.09% at a zinc recovery of 66.35% and 9.70% for fine zinc concentration yield.
