Abstract: Dulong Sn-Zn deposit is one of the three largest poly-metallic deposits in Southeastern Yunnan Province, China. There are a lot of previous studies on metallogenic characteristics, metallogenic regularity and controlling factors, metallogenic geochronology and magmatism, etc. The nature of this deposit indicates that the structure plays an important role in ore-forming. But the researches on structures are relatively weak, especially on the N-S direction faults such as F0, F1 and F2, etc. In this paper, evolution process of the N-S direction faults with the mechanics mechanism and dynamic setting, before and after later Yanshanian magmatism and mineralization were analyzed. These faults had played as migration pathways for ore-forming hydrothermal fluids and deposition space for ore-forming metals during the mineralization. According to the opinion mentioned above, Zn, Pb and Ag exploiting around the N-S direction faults in the areas such as Shuidongchang, Wukongdong and Yanshan should be benefitted.
