Discussion on Mining Methods for Different Types of Ore in Dulong Polymetallic Open-Pit Mine (Vol. 36, No. 4, 2016) TEXT SIZE: A A A

Abstract: Dulong Sn-Zn polymetallic deposit is a supper large scale open-pit mine in Maguan County, Yunnan Province, China, and its mining capacity is over 2.1 million tons every year. Being complex mineral assemblages with various ore-forming elements, and uniform ore-bodies with different geological occurrences, it is hard for mining in Dulong open-pit mine. During the long-term mining, it has been suggested that different mining methods can be carried on the different types of ore-body in a working bench of Dulong mine. Multiple combination of mining method will not only reduce the waste of resources, but also increase the economic benefit of enterprise, and it will provide important reference for similar open-pit mine.
