Abstract: Tongjie-Manjiazhai ore domain is the most important ore domain in Dulong Mine. In the middle to western parts of this domain, the vein and lentoid smaller and richer Zn-Cu ore-bodies had been found around these stratoid Sn-Zn major ore-bodies. Some of them had been discharged as barren rocks or wasted resources in some degrees. Based on analysis of ore-controlling factors, it suggests that later Yanshanian magmatic hydrothermal should be the key to ore-forming. Concealed granites, N-S stripping faults, and inter-beds of marble and schist play controlling factors to ore-bodies in different degrees. Combined with ore prospection, mine production and research works, the prospection model on the basis of temperature field related to the concealed granites, has been provided for guiding the blind ore-bodies forecast. Preferable ore finding effects have been obtained through the shallow and surface exploration in the two target sections, in order to reducing the ore waste, enhancing the resources availability and increasing the economic benefit.
