Abstract: Biomineralization is the process of forming minerals which regulation and inducement by organic substrate. Calcium and strontium were taken as the research object, based on chlorella biomineralization induction of calcium and strontium by ester group of chlorella, conditions and methods for the formation of stable mineral were studied. By using SEM, XRD and FT-IR, effects of the surface group of chlorella on the biomineralization of Ca and Sr were investigated. When strontium ion concentration is higher, most crystal is aragonite phase; when calcium ion concentration is higher, the calcite crystal is higher. Crystal orientation is more easily affected by high content of ions under the action of chlorella. When ester base of the chlorella is shielded, the ability of controlling nucleation of crystal orientation by calcium and strontium is weaken. In conclusion, ester of the chlorella can promote the conversion of crystal type, and can regulate the morphology of crystals.
