Abstract: In water pollution repairing technology, adsorption method is considered to be the most promising decontamination technology due to its characters of simple operation and low cost. As its higher specific surface area and stronger adsorption ability, iron and manganese oxide can be used as good adsorbents, and it has been widely applied to the adsorption process of pollutants. In this paper, research progress on the adsorption effect on arsenic, heavy metals and phosphate by Fe-Mn binary oxide was summarized. Also, the influence factors to the adsorption process were analyzed. Comprehensive analysis found that Fe-Mn binary oxide shows wide application prospects in contamination remediation.

Keywords: Fe-Mn binary oxide; absorption; heavy metal; contamination remediation
