Abstract: Since 2010, major breakthroughs in Rb ore prospecting have been made in Gansu Province. A number of mineral deposits with very large resource potential have been found. This paper discusses the characteristics of Rb mineral resources in a newly discovered deposit in Gansu province, the geological characteristics of the ore body according to the different mineralization types in this mining area, and the regional metallogenic regularity. Results show that the distribution of Rb ore has strong regularity of distribution and is mostly deposited in the Beishan area, followed by the West Qinling area. Most of the deposits are located in the old block edge and the Late Archean-Paleoproterozoic metamorphic strata form the major stratum. The orebodies occur mainly in the Late Variscan intrusive granite and pegmatite.
