Abstract:The copper-molybdenum deposit of Laochang in Lancang, Yunnan Province, China, is skarn and porphyry ore deposit related to the Yanshanian porphyry. Its metallogenetic geological setting and geological characteristics of deposits obviously display comprehensive correspondence in the respects of geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing interpretation. In view of above, the prognosis of synthetic information was employed to obtain prediction and evaluation on prospect for molybdenum ore resources of Laochang in Lancang, in this study.
