The next symposium of the Geochemistry of the Earth’s Surface (GES-11) will be held in Guiyang, China, June 11th - 16th, 2017. GES-11 will emphasize the recent advancements of all surface-earth system sciences, with an ambitious agenda for Earth’s future.

The GES meeting is a small-size, friendly meeting (up to 200 attendees) featuring a programme of invited oral presentations and extensive poster sessions. Invited oral presentations will be organized in the morning and poster sessions will cover afternoons. A half-day is scheduled to explore the Qinyan historical village, in the suburban of the Guiyang City. Social events will include a reception, a convivial banquet (with a wonderful live entertainment, Colorful Guizhou, depending on the conditions). After the conference, a field trip will be organized to sightsee the beautiful karst topography in Guizhou Province.

GES is a good opportunity for students to meet established scientific leaders and participation of early career scientists is particularly encouraged. Partial support will be available for students to attend and present their work.
