On February 1, 1966, Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGCAS) was established in Guiyang through the merger of :

  • Geochemistry Group of the Institute of Geology, CAS

  • Guiyang Institute of Chemistry, CAS

  • Kunming Field Station of the Institute of Geology, CAS
